Though a lot of favorite Christmas traditions will be tragically tossed by the wayside in 2020, some can still persist. That includes an annual screening of Jon Favreau's 2003 holiday classic Elf, a movie notable for (among many other things) the unexpected sight of a blonde Zooey Deschanel, being the first of two times that Mary Steenburgen plays Will Ferrell's mother, and that part where the Other Guy from Tenacious D is really excited about meeting Peter Dinklage.

Seventeen years after Elf's release, you can finally make the world's best cup of coffee without having to travel to Midtown Manhattan. That's thanks to the festive folks at International Delight, who are celebrating the launch of three different Elf-branded creamers by giving away a bunch of Elf-themed holiday decorating kits that'll spread some serious Christmas cheer without the need to sing loud for all to hear.

Seriously, this decorating kit features the kind of attention to detail you'd expect from an overgrown elf trapped overnight in a now-defunct department store. You can jazz up your coffee making space with a set of twinkling string lights, paper snowflakes, sparkling garlands, six inch ribbon curls (SIX INCHES) and a fluffy "snow" bed to fall asleep in if you're the kind of psychopath who prefers decaf. You can also turn that coffee nook into a winter wonderland, what with the included mini pine tree and ornaments.

In terms of more practical implements in your decorating kit, you'll find three coffee mugs, each adorned with a particular quotable line from the film, plus a serving tray and fancy gold stirring spoons. Then of course, you'll also get International Delight's interpretation of the four major elf food groups: candy, candy canes, coffee, and creamer (including all three Elf-branded holiday flavors). Finally, it wouldn't be complete without a "World's Best Cup of Coffee" sign.

Though there's room for everyone on the nice list, there's only a limited amount of time to claim this free decorating kit. Visit International Delight's website and let them know why you need a bit of Christmas cheer from Buddy the Elf and International Delight now through December 4 for a chance to win. Whether it's for you, that special someone, or even a grump like Miles Finch, you won't want to miss out.

So while you or I may not be able to get by on the 40 minutes of sleep that elves consider a restful night, a cheerful space for making your coffee can brighten up any morning and leave you feeling like you should be on a Christmas card. Just remember that if you see a sign that says peep show, they aren't letting you look at presents before Christmas.
