It seems a little early, but tons of brands and stores are already dropping advent calendars for eager customers to buy. Chocolate, though classic, is no longer the hottest item. Instead, everyone seems to want wine, cheese, even beer to help them mark the days from the start of December to Christmas Day.
Sam's Club just launched their newest advent calendar — one filled with 12 mini bottles of wine that are perfect for sharing with a friend, or keeping for yourself.
The bottles run the gamut of varietals, including plenty of reds, whites, and even roses. The box reveals there is one bottle each of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Cabernet – Syrah Blend, Red Blend, Cabernet – Merlot Blend, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Sweet Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, and Rosé. Each of these bottles also features delightfully ugly holiday sweaters.

The 12 Days Wine Calendar is only $37.98. That puts each bottle (which holds 187 milliliters, or a little over six ounces) at a bit more than $3.
Of course, advent calendars are meant to count down the days before Christmas, but since there are 24 days in December before the big day, no one would be opposed to you picking up two of these calendars to get you through the month.
Advent calendars like these tend to sell out pretty quickly, so head to your closest Sam's Club to pick one up as soon as possible. They may restock, since it's only October, but you definitely don't want to be caught without your wine this advent season.
