Target Has a Copycat Treat That 'Tastes Better than Starbucks' for Less Than Half the Price

It's no secret we love a great copycat version of our favorite foods. We have so many delicious copycat offerings recipes, between the Big Mac clone that's just as good as McDonald's and the crispy and creamy doughnuts that are as delectable as those famous ones from our favorite doughnut shop.

Thanks to Target's latest treat, we have another to try. People are skipping Starbucks for their next sweet treat and hitting this giant retailer instead.

Target’s Summer Cake Pops by Favorite Day Bakery

Target's new seasonal offering is its Summer Cake Pops by Target's own brand, Favorite Day Bakery. The simple cake pops are giving Starbucks some serious competition. The package comes with four vanilla-flavored cake pops dipped in pink frosting dotted with colorful sprinkles. 

Not only are they pretty, but they are also affordable. At $5.99 per package, that's roughly $1.50 each, making this option much cheaper than Starbucks' version, which can cost about $3.25 a pop.

Target customers love the taste of these cake pops. Some shoppers shared their thoughts on the Target product page, comparing Target's cake pops to Starbucks. "These cake pops are delicious! Equally as good as Starbucks," while someone else argued, "These taste better than Starbucks cake pops! They taste close to homemade ones."

Aldi also recently introduced its own vanilla and chocolate cake pops, which gave Starbucks some decent competition. The pops came in a four-pack and cost much less than the ones at the famous coffeehouse chain.

Summer Cake Pops by Favorite Day Bakery are now available at Target stores nationwide and online. Since they are a limited-edition treat for spring and summer, you should snag them while you can.
