Mom's Ginger Snaps.

Just just made them. They're a little too sweet for my likes, I used dark brown sugar. I'll make them again but will modify the sweetness

Pork-n-Beans Cake Recipe.
I was surprised on how this cake came out! Everyone liked it. It does taste like a spice cake. I made a few alterations, I only used 1 1/2 cu sugar and I omitted the raisins(my son doesn't like them) I mashed the beans up and I topped it with a light simple glaze. It was a hit!

Carrot Cake.
I made this cake for a family birthday celebration. I did change a few things however, I cut down on the oil as others had suggested and I made a cream cheese icing. It was a hit! It was moist and not too sweet! I definately will be making this again!!

Million Dollar Cake.
I made this cake for our Thanksgiving office party. It was a huge success! I didn't make it in 4 layers though. I use a 10x13 pan and just split the cake into two layers! It was gone in a flash at the party! Several people asked me for the recipe! The only suggestion I would have would be to drain some of the liquid from the pineapple, I found the icing to be a bit runny! I will be making this for Thanksgiving dinner with my family. I'm sure they will gobble it up!

Peach Dump Cake.
I made this last night for a party at my job. I found it to be very easy to put together and the ingredients were readily available. I did make a few changes, I kept the basic recipe but added some freshly ground nutmeg to the peach mixture, as well as I put some butter pieces in the mixture, and I sprinkled the top with cinnamon and some brown sugar. It was delish!! It's a good recipe if you don't want to spend time in the kitchen and make something that will wow the crowd!

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits.
I made these buscuits for breakfast on Mother's day this year. They were very moist, and tender. They were a snap to make too! I used butter flavored crisco to give it that butter taste. When they were done, I split them and put a pat of unsalted butter on each! Delish!!! I didn't kneed them, just let it rest for a few minutes and then rolled them out! My mom and my children loved them. Very tasty!!
