I I made it according to the directions, however, I used less tomato paste, and I used Knox tomato chicken bouillon and two beef bullion cubes. The soup is really lovely, and the orzo is so nice. Highly recommend.
400 is too high to bake the crust - it burned in less than 5 minutes. 1 cup of sugar is too much for the cream cheese. I reduced it to half a cup and, to me, it’s still too sweet.
Delicious! I used individual spices instead of a creole blend. I used canned beans after setting my pans on fire one too many times!My new favorite dish!
