Super easy, but elevated breakfast or brunch dish with plenty of room to embellish! I feel brioche works best and dusted each slide with a cinnamon sugar mix. To raise the flavor profile, I added 3 tablespoons or orange juice to the dip mixture and, if you want a bit more of a crispy bite, 2-3 mins in a toaster over after pan frying creates an almost caramelized crust ;)
Great base recipe! I prefer my eggs scrambled, so cooked them that way with a bit of butter, salt, and pepper. To keep things easy I microwaved the bacon and the tortillas (separately) and didn't fry the refried beans. I added Mexican cheese, salsa, and jalapeños to top, layered all the ingredients in the tortilla, wrapped and microwaved one more time until the cheese melted. Need to play with the proportions and size of the tortillas to make sure everything fits and can be folded nicely. Super tasty breakfast and easy to make several, which can be wrapped in foil and enjoyed for a quick breakfast later in the week!
I was a little skeptical about this recipe's ability to recreate the classic comfort food taste of Pasta Roni, but it was spot on! I found the sauce was a little soupy and would reduce the chicken broth added back in to 1/8 cup. Otherwise, this was a great college throwback!
A tasty childhood comfort food! I followed the advice of other home cooks and amped up the flavor by adding one medium onion chopped and sautéed (the sautéing is important to do before adding other ingredients), red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to the tuna mix. I reduced the peas to one cup as two seemed a bit much and replaced the American cheese slices with one and a half cups of grated red and white sharp cheddar and finished in the oven for 15. Super simple, yummy - perfect for a lazy Sunday dinner with plenty of leftovers for the week!

I picked this while I was looking for a prawn, lemon, and butter recipe that didn't need white wine (I was out). Super tasty and the caper brine really punches through nicely. One tweak for next time is reducing the red pepper flakes - I'm a big spice fan, but these over-powered the flavor a bit. When serving over pasta I suggest increasing the amount of butter and salt.
One of my favorite omelet recipes with lots of room for variation to keep things fresh! I tried this with egg whites for a more healthy option and used Shiitake to boost the mushroom flavor profile. Also, I really love the red pepper flakes here - they give a great 'oomph' to the taste!
Super tasty! I poach the eggs in the microwave following the directions here (https://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/microwave_poached_eggs/) - this takes lots of the guess work out of the poaching process and helps offset the age of the eggs if you're not able to get super fresh ones. I also have tried these with different types of bread and really enjoy the added crispiness of croissants!
Easy weeknight recipe, but feel the ingredients could come together better perhaps with some eggs. I'd also consider trying this with onion sautéed in with the sausage. As is, this makes a huge portion that could easily stretch to 10-12 servings.
I've been loving making poached eggs in the microwave using a small circle Tupperware container. Perfect for this Eggs Benedict recipe or to elevate salads, sandwiches, pizzas, etc!
Great simple recipe! Love how the butter browns and unlocks the woodsy notes from the sage. I used fresh gnocchi, skipped the boiling, and pan-fried for six minutes to give a crispy outside and pillowy inside with a nice bounce when you bite. This also avoids the gnocchi from becoming sticky. Tossed with Italian sausage.
