I just made this for the second time with a little more confidence than the first time. Didn't use the lemon or orange zest because I wanted the classic taste. I think it taste better a couple of days after it's made. It may just be in my head but most desserts seem to taste better after they've sat for a bit. I love this recipe and I will do it again and again. I've always been told homemade cheesecakes are difficult to make but this recipe is simple and the results are amazing.

I didn't make any changes to this recipe because it is perfect the way it is. My friends and family request it all the time and my mom would have it intravenously 24/7 if that was possible. I absolutely love this cake and I've made it at least 20 times within the last five years.

Made my own cake mix instead of using the boxed cake and it turned out amazing.
