I make these for Christmas every year specially for my daughter because they are the only sweets she really likes. For people who are complaining that they are too crumbly if you wait until they are cool before touching them they don't practically disintegrate on you. If they do after cooling then you did something wrong. You need to nake sure you whip the batter long enough or they won't turn out well.

I make this every year for my family at Christmas and it is always requested when I ask them what they want me to bake that year. In my house its referred to as "cracker crack". I haven't added any nuts to the top before since one of my kids doesn't like nuts but I may make two batches one with nuts and one without. Love this recipe!

We make this meatloaf on a regular basis. The only changes that we make is ground chicken vs beef, Italian bread crumbs and add green pepper. We have made the recipe as is as well and its great either way

I enjoyed this recipe. The only changes that I made were that I substituted the water and bullion with chicken stock and prepared it in the rice cooker. Next time I would add some extra cumin, beans and maybe a little corn to make it a bit more hearty because my daughter didn't like it (because of the tomato sauce) and then I can have the leftovers as a meal on its own.
