This was great and easy. I used 1/4 C white sugar and 1/4 C brown sugar which gave it a butterscotch-type flavor. Added the cold milk to the dry ingredients in the pan, as suggested.

This was easy and very good. The only changes I made were to use chopped sweet onion instead of green, sauteed them with the peppers and mushrooms and then added the rest. Added the cheese with the egg mixture instead of at the end. Everyone loved it.
This was just ok. Decreased powdered sugar to 3 1/2 C and added 1 tsp vanilla to top layer based on other reviews. The crust layer had consistency of a soft cookie dough before baking but was kind of dry and crumbly after baking. Flavor was ok, texture was what I didn’t like.
This was excellent! I made a few changes as follows: 8 cups broth, added 1 lb mild Italian sausage which I sautéd w/onions, carrots and zucchini. Also added 4 garlic cloves and dash cayenne pepper, 10 oz frozen spinach added with a 19 oz frozen cheese tortellini at end. Wonderful!
This soup was amazing! Wish I would have doubled the recipe. The only thing I changed was to use 6 cups chicken broth instead of 4 cups and 2 cups water (I used better than boullion from Costco).
