I made this recipe for Rosh Hashana this year. The only downside was that I felt like it was very time consuming but in the end, they came out absolutely delicious! Minor changes that I made were that I added about 1tsp. of Vanilla to the dough. Also, when adding sugar to make the filling, I used an equal combination of brown and white sugar. I also made some of them with a dark chocolate and walnut filling using melted Hershey's Special Dark chips and a combination of walnuts and sugar. I will definitely make these again!

I folded in some cinnamon and then added more cinnamon and some sugar to the top. Came out delicious!!
