Ingredients

2-3 lbs pork spareribs

salt & pepper, to taste

Glaze:

3/4 c chopped yellow onion
-
1/2 c chili sauce
-
1 T canola oil
-
3 tsp minced garlic
-
1/4 c chopped pickled jalapeno slices
-
3 T allspice
-
1/4 tsp ginger
-
1/2 tsp nutmeg
-
1/2 tsp salt
Directions

Combine all glaze ingredients in a blender and process until smooth, set aside.

Preheat oven 400 degrees.

Remove membrane from the back side of ribs(makes ribs more tender)

Season ribs with salt & pepper, to taste.

Wrap ribs in heavy duty foil, sealing tightly and place in a shallow roasting pan foil seam up.

Cook 1 1/2 hours.

Remove ribs from oven and leave in foil until ready to place on grill.

Prepare grill.

Remove ribs from foil and drain of juices. Place on grill and brush with glaze. When a nice glaze is achieved , turn over and brush with more glaze. Cook until a nice glaze is achieved on each side.
