Tanya reviewed Kristin Turrell’s Italian Chicken and Chickpeas. 10/19/2018
This meal was surprisingly good since I made it with items I had in the cupboard so I didn’t have to go to the store. Love the zip of the cayenne, but didn’t put in as much as recipe said. I used spaghetti sauce because that’s what I had and I added onions and garlic while sautéing the chicken. Thank u for a useful recipe.

These have been a hit for the last 3 Christmases! I make about 100 every year out of 3 batches. So amazing in texture and keep very well.

Tanya reviewed SUDEMERS’s Out of This World Turkey Brine. 12/30/2017
I was disappointed with my last turkey, so I looked into what would make it better, tastier, and juicier. This is it! I used kosher salt since I didn't have canning salt, and added slices of red onion to the brine. I left my turkey in the brine for about 8 hours, and then roasted, and it was amazing! I will brine my turkeys from now one! One thing to note, is that even though my turkey was stuffed, it was done and reached the temp if 165 about 30 to 45 min sooner than shortest cook time for a 14 lb turkey. Thank you for a great recipe.

These were good, but too dense for my taste.

With a little guidance from my mom and this recipe, it was good. It reminded of my Granny's meals at her home. I didn't use sausage in the meat and rice mixture, but did add Polska kielbasa because that's what my family did. I enjoyed this meal, and it was not that difficult to make. Thank you for the recipe.
