Sooo good! I used Barilla spinach and cheese tortellini instead of the pasta, simply because I already had it on the shelf, but otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. It made enough for my husband and I for dinner, with enough leftover to freeze for another meal. We both loved it, and I will definitely be making this a lot this winter!
Recipe is excellent as is, didn’t change a thing. Everyone from husband down to 2 year old grandson loved it. Served with radishes, tortilla strips, limes, cabbage, cilantro as toppings.
Made exactly as recipe states, except I changed the servings to 4 (which was perfect since it uses one ‘rope’ of sausage!). I work late and need to get something on the table quickly for my husband and I. This was delicious and fast! The broth is buttery and so tasty. Not much leftover because my husband had two helpings, but just enough for lunch tomorrow :). Will definitely make again. Might try it over noodles next time.

I followed other reviewers suggestions and used garlic powder and onion powder in place of the salts. I did however add the regular salt but I will leave it out next time as it was still a little salty for us. Other than that, it was delicious and I will definitely make it again! We served it on soft potato buns coleslaw on top. Perfect summer weekend meal! Thank you, Gary!
