LisaC reviewed Allrecipes Member’s Easy Shepherd's Pie. 03/20/2015
I made this recipe a couple weeks ago and I could not believe how easy AND tasty it is! To make it even easier, I opted to use a whole package of Bob Evans refrigerated mashed potatoes heated up in the microwave and one whole jar of gravy. I had the whole thing whipped up and in the oven within about 15 minutes. A GREAT one-dish meal for those busy weeknights.

LisaC reviewed JUDY G’s Slow Cooker Beef Vegetable Soup. 02/20/2011
This is EXCELLENT recipe for BUSY FAMILIES!! The first time I made it, it came out on the thicker side (maybe too much meat?), so I added a little corn starch/water mixture to thicken it even more; now it's VEGETABLE STOUP. The only thing I did differently was to add Oregano and a little Creole seasoning in place of salt. Served with Beer Bread (another to-die for recipe) & salad for a great meal!! ONE RECOMMENDATION: For a more tender, fall-off-the-bone meat, I recommend cooking it for at least 7-8 hours on low. After 6 hours, my meat was tender (and tasty), but after 7 hours, you could cut the meat with a fork.

LisaC reviewed Kory H’s Easy Beer Bread Mix. 02/02/2011
**ATTENTION FANS OF TASTEFULLY SIMPLE'S BEER BREAD** This recipe is a DELICOUS (and MUCH cheaper) alternative to TS's Beer Bread! I whipped up a double batch in no time and have to say that this recipes is a KEEPER! THE BEST PART: It's made with simple staples that nearly everyone has in their kitchen. I especially love the idea from other Reviewers of putting all the dry ingredients together in a bag and attaching to a bottle of beer for Christmas gifts.

This hot chocolate is absolutely DELICIOUS!! It is SO CREAMY and FROTHY!! The only comment I have is that this only made, at most, 4-1/2 cup servings, so DOUBLE the recipe and ENJOY!!

LisaC reviewed Becky’s Cornucopia Recipe. 11/23/2010
I stumbled onto this and decide to make it for our family Thanksgiving. To me, the most difficult part was getting the tin-foil to cooperate when stuffing and trying to make the cornucopia shape. Once I accomplished that, wrapping the bread was a BREEZE! As other mentioned, I also DID NOT use the egg wash to attach the strips; instead, choosing to press the pieces together. This is a FUN project with the end result being very impressive!

LisaC reviewed Baker's’s Easy Oreo Truffles. 01/01/2010
These truffles are absolutely DELICIOUS and are so unbelievably simple to make. This is the second time I've made them in the past couple of weeks and I think I've perfected the process (without changing the recipe). TIP 1: Once the cookies & cream cheese are mixed, REFIGERATE mixture for an hour. TIP 2: Use a Mellon Ball scooper to scoop out onto the waxed paper. TIP 3: REFIGERATE the rolled balls another hour to harden. This makes it easier to roll in the melted chocolate. TIP 4: Try different chocolates for dipping!! I dipped some in White chocolate and some in semi-sweet chocolate; the white-dipped ones were FANTASTIC. The two flavors really complimented each other!!! Definitely a keeper of a recipe...
