This recipe was super easy to follow - I made it on a whim bc my little guy had asked for a chocolate pie, and I realized I had all of the ingredients to make it. I did add an extra tbs of corn starch (per other reviews) and also subbed about a half cup of heavy cream for the whole milk. Delicious. I topped the decadent pie with a lovely meringue that I baked separately. The family enjoyed each bite! I have saved this recipe and will be making it again : )
These are very good and easy to make! I followed the recipe exactly, and they came out very nice. The next day we made them by letting the yeast, sugar, and warm water bubble up before adding the flour and salt - this allowed them to rise a bit better. Tasty. After baking, we wet the top and sprinkle with kosher salt.
These are delicious. I read some reviews and realized, YEP, they only need about 8 minutes of baking time - they will be perfectly chewy and not hard. I also added about 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (along with the milk chocolate chips) and about 1/4 cup of fudge to the recipe. I also transferred them immediately to the cooling rack. Thanks for a wonderful recipe that can be adjusted to our likings. : )
Super easy to make - my kiddo did the work alone. We did follow reviews and dropped to one egg and 1/3 cup oil (I used olive), but they just have no flavor. We did roll some in cinnamon and sugar, but still - great texture - no flavor. We used a funfetti cake mix since it's what we had on hand.
Thanks for a yummy recipe! I followed it pretty exactly - the rolls were tender and the right consistency. They didn’t rise hardly at all though, but we didn’t mind.
This was delicious! We used pork chops (with bones since that's what I had - next time no bones for sure). We also did not add cinnamon (personal preference) and I did not have coriander but we did triple the amount of seasonings. OH! and we added about 6 cloves of fresh, chopped garlic (along w the granulated garlic). I shredded and mixed with laughing cow light cheese, and shredded cheddar then baked at 400F in a roasted, deseeded poblano. YUMMY! The kids ate the pork by itself. Thanks for a great recipe : )
