Excellent, simple recipe. Would give it 5 stars as is, but I have also made it using mascarpone and a little grated orange rind. Would give that 5 stars too!!
Chef John's recipes never disappoint. This one is no exception. I didn't have veal or pork so I just used beef and the meatballs still turned out terrific.
So easy! Everyone loved it. Trust the method...it really works. We had an 8 lb boneless roast, so we used a roasting pan with a rack. The meat seared beautifully at 500 F. Will make this again.
