November 2024 JazzInAZ reviewed AUNTLYNNIE’s Best of the Best Blueberry Muffins. 10/22/2023 Made exactly as written except used FROZEN blueberries, and plain milk instead of buttermilk. They came out fantastic. Everyone loved them. The flavor was good. If I'd known it would come out like brittle, I would have spread it much thinner, so that I could break it up into pieces without a hammer (which is what I needed to use). It says low heat, but that doesn't mean much, maybe temperatures needed to be checked along the way. From reading other reviews, there are apparently common pitfalls, and these are not addressed in the recipe at all. I still have no idea what went wrong. I can only assume my temperature was too high. Then again, it never got thick enough for the "ribbons" to last 5 seconds on the top of the liquid. No idea. Helpful (1) Chef John's Cauliflower Pizza Crust 03/09/2021 Fantastic pizza. I used about 3/4 cup various shredded cheeses in the crust, but no goat cheese. The crust was a bit cheesy, so I will reduce to 1/2 cup next time. But overall, absolutely fabulous. Helpful (2) Disney's Ratatouille 02/24/2017 This was fantastic! I made basically no changes except for doubling, and baking in a large lasagna dish. In the 1st paragraph of instructions, it's a little confusing where it says to "stir in" the olive oil and water. Here's what I did, and it worked wonderfully: spread tomato paste in dish, evenly sprinkle garlic and onion, mix olive oil into water then quickly and evenly pour water/oil mixture over the whole dish. Then salt and pepper and the rest as instructed. Highly recommended! Even for kids. ;) Helpful (0)
