I make a recipe as written the first time always. I thought it was a bit bland but will make it again adding my personal taste to it. I like a bit of a kick so I’ll add pineapple tidbits and cilantro maybe a thai red pepper . Serrano(?) Too it with some toasty coconut for flavor and a nice presentation.

This is a fabulous recipe as is! My husband has never really liked Meatloaf but has asked me to make this again. I made two because our adult son was over. He took a sandwich home & I ate every last bite of leftovers! If you love a little sweet like I do double the sauce because it’s that good and you’ll want it for Leftovers (if there are any) I recommend spraying the pan with non stick spray due to sugar content it made clean-up a breeze! No pan soaking in the sink overnight.

Empty nesters I cut recipe in half and rounded up ingredients ie :Italian seasoning 2 tbsp. Soy sauce 2 tbsp. I read many reviews and too much liquid was a common comment so I decreased it to 11/4 cup adding better than bullion 2tsp. Those are the only changes I made. We loved it. I have recently become handicap due to advanced scoliosis so I need easy tasteful dinners with easy clean up. Those aren’t so easy to find but this one measures up!

Wow this is really yummya !Also has aNice presentation served in a glass casserole dish. Allowing for the vision of the bubbling ingredients beneath the golden brown top. I expected this dish to weigh in heavy but I suppose it isn’t heavy because it lacks eggs. I try to sneak in veggies when I can & added mini orange and red pepper rings & a bit of chopped onion. I split the measurements right down the middle (6 servings) for Hubs & I which afforded us a hearty dinner entree served with a side of jaw dropping bings (it’s all about the sweet and salty for me!) & accompanied eggs the next morning. Did I mention how easy to make and clean up is a breeze. Married nearly 40 years Im so over menu planning and cooking I just want to sew for my granddaughters and dote on my dog. Whose with me? Thanks all recipes you help make that possible with meals like these.

I’ve got everybody fooled believing I spent hours making this wonderful dessert. The contributor is says it like it is “it’s just dressed up ice cream sandwiches” call it what you like I and everyone I’ve served it too calls it “Wonderful and delish!” And let me add “you shouldn’t have spent so much time for us” and “We know you’re busy and I hate to trouble you for that ice cream dessert but oh how we love it!” For which I reply, “You guys are so worth it, I’m glad to do it”. Lol
