We loved it. I did make a 2 1/2lb rump roast but used the measurements for the 5 lb. I shredded the meat after 8 hours and put back in juice for an hour on warm.
I'm from Texas so I don't have the same Italian Beef Sandwich knowledge my husband does, who's from CT. He really loved it. For my first one I cooked, I scored an A+
