I don't know who made the original recipe I have had it for over twenty years, I have made it for party's, dinners and all types of events, everyone loves this cake it's always is in big demand for me to make it, I love it too (if you don't like it to sweet use light brown sugar) always follow the recipe and you will not go wrong.
