Delicious! I used this as is and added raisins since my husband wanted oatmeal raisin cookie. Usually I'm not a fan of oatmeal raisin, but I ate a ton of these thanks to this wonderful oatmeal cookie recipe.

This is my go-to icing recipe now. I love it. I've also used it as a base and added different flavorings to it. Turns out great every time.

This was amazing! I made it for my husband's birthday cake and he loved it. I used a white cake and the "quick and almost-professional buttercream icing" recipe on this side to go with it.

I'll go with user error. This was my first time making tablet. I didn't have a candy thermometer, so I tried using the method to put some in cold water, but that didn't quite work out. I'm assuming I ended up having the heat too low. The final consistency once cooled was that of soft butter, not a thick candy that held it's shape - I could spread it, not cut it. It was also very grainy. And WAY too sweet for us. It I was a more skilled candy maker this may have worked better, but it's too challenging for me and the overpowering sweetness makes me not want to try again. :( I'll stick with other fudge recipes which are more forgiving.

Tasty and easy recipe! Very easy to make small modifications or add seasonings to suite different tastes. I followed the advice of other reviewers and baked the bottom crust about 10 minutes before adding in the filling. I also used frozen veggies instead of canned, microwaving them for half the time first. This was my first time making pot pie and it was great! This is a keeper!

It was a little tart and bland for my taste. I used raspberries. The only substitution I made to the original recipe was to use better instead of shortening and I cut the recipe in half. It's good, but it didn't wow me. If I attempt this again maybe I'll try different berries and add more sugar.
