I used 1/2 cup chopped figs, since 1 fig just wouldn't do! My scones baked 10 minutes, then I scored them, then baked an extra 15 minutes. Perfect for summer fig season! Instead of making monster sized cookies, I shaped the dough into 2 dozen balls and flattened them slightly, baking for about 20 minutes. I loved these for breakfast, a wonderful way to start the day! Helpful (1) Minted Barley Pilaf 07/11/2015 I didn't use the chicken stock, just water. Mint was a great addition to this hearty pilaf! This is a very tasty dish! Helpful (2) Cucumber Ice Cream Sorbet 07/02/2015 Easy to make! Good taste, but next time I will add a few mint leaves for extra flavor! Helpful (3) Crunchy Curry Tuna Sandwich 06/27/2015 Start by using less curry powder! I ended up feeling comfortable with 1 1/2 tsp. curry powder. I also like my tuna salad to bind together a bit more, so added extra mayonnaise. The addition of peanuts and raisins made this quite interesting! Thanks for the recipe! Helpful (1)
