Followed to a T. Bottle of beer, two cups water, couple tsps of minced garlic. Trivet with about a 4lb corned beef on top, sprinkled with the season packet. I did 95 min because mine was a little bigger then the recipe. Sliced against the grain. It was mouthwatering tender and delicious. I did colcannon potatoes on the side and cooked carrots separate, then stirrered into the meat juice left in the pot for a few minutes. All was delicious.

Made this for dessert tonight for my husband, me and our two kids. We all loved it (except for my son who said it was "just ok"). It's not super sweet although I suppose you could make it as sweet as you want, just add sugar. Very light and yummy. I used a very ripe banana and a regular one because it's what I had and I substituted honey for agave because I didn't realize I was out of honey, but I don't think that made a difference. It was really good and probably something I would make again!

I make this every so often and my husband loves loves loves them! The kids...not so much because they don't like BBQ sauce (weirdos!). It's a great recipe though, we love it!
