I liked this recipe. I will probably alter the sauce next time to give it a more Italian flavor. I also topped it with dairy free shredded mozzarella and sprinkled dry oregano. Recipe made a lot; enough to feed at least 10-12 people. Leftovers good too.
I followed this recipe exactly and did not care for it. It had way too much sage... it probably would be better if there were some more different spices, but all I could taste was the sage with every bite.
This was my first attempt making anything with curry, so I toned down the spices a bit, glad I did and it was DELICIOUS! I had many red potatoes on hand so I used them instead with the peeling on. I only used 3 tsp, curry & garam masala and 1 tsp cayenne it was spicy enough for us. Based on previous reviews, I used more potatoes and less garbanzos. I also used frozen peas instead of canned and only 1/2 as much as what the recipe called for. It was perfect for my family. Served over yellow rice. I will definitely make this again and tone down the spice even a little more.
Really good but a little too much jalapeño if your making for a hot sensitive group. If you like it hot, then keep the whole jalapeño, easy adjustment. Makes a lot!
