Very good recipe. They all came out perfect from the very first one. I didn't have milk but I mixed cream with hot water. I'm going to freeze the extras and then have them when I want one!

I was surprised that the rice paper wrap wasn't more difficult after reading the other reviews but you just have to be careful and take your time with that part. I did everything the way the recipe says except I had to substitute with Genovese basil and with orange mint for regular mint. I also made the sauces exactly like it says. My husband and I both thought they lacked flavor more than anything. I probably won't make them again because it was too much work for a dish that tasteless.

So easy that the next day I used the recipe for peach clafoutis which was also delicious. The ratio of eggs and cream was perfect for a nice creamy custard. I make my own vanilla extract so I used that instead of the bean. Then, I used the same recipe minus the sugar and vanilla and made a savory clafoutis containing sauteed mushrooms, red bell pepper, soft goat cheese - Chevre, onion, zucchini, and an assortment of my favorite spices.The Blend-Tec food processor made the filling so easy.

I really loved this as a quick and easy supper. The combination of spices rubbed into the tenderloin was perfect. I served it with broccoli and some stovetop stuffing mix and the family loved it.
