Slow Cooker Pepper Steak.
The meat cooked well but the flavor was just ok for us. I wouldn’t make this again.

My Ambrosia Recipe.
This did not work for me. Maybe if the dressing ingredients ie flaked coconut and THAWED whipped topping were mixed/stirred together before folding into the fruit. Mine was grainy.

Coconut-Curry Lentil Stew Served over Quinoa Recipe.

This was very good but I did have to add red pepper flakes to give it a bit more zing... Will make again! I didn't have red lentils so I had to use green which did require a lot more liquid and cooking time.

Creamy Chocolate Frosting.
Disturbingly sweet - I may try to double the cocoa and keep sugar amount the same or even lessen it the next time ...

Two Tier Strawberry Pie Recipe.

It was good but based on the reviews, I also used more cream cheese but dis not increase the amount of sugar in the cream part, used pomegranate juice in place of grenadine syrup, used arrrowroot powder instead of cornstarch, did not add almond extract as I do not like the taste and added melted chocolate to the crust. Next time, I would use less sugar in the cream and glaze part as I found this very sweet.

German Apple Cake.
I made the adjustments called for: thinly slice apples, 5 cups apples instead of 4, more cinammon, 1/2 cup oil and 1/2 apple sauce. It definitely baked well but it was nothing spectacular. Maybe it’ll be better the next day.

Smooth Sweet Tea.
Awesome! My go to recipe every Spring/summer! Someone mentioned glass cracking when pouring hot water in: pour the hot water onto a table spoon that you hold in whatever glass container such that the hot water hits the sides of the container slowly and you shouldn't have a problem.

Chef John's Buttermilk Panna Cotta.
Awesome! First try I used the suggested amount of sugar and for the 2nd try I used about 1/3 cup sugar. Both were great. For flavouring , I used the lemon peel, vanilla but also cardamom. Wonderful recipe!
