Zesty Lizard reviewed Lilster’s Coconut-Cream Cheese Frosting. 06/14/2012
Very easy to make and tastes good. The consistency was nice and thick even with only 1 cup of powdered sugar. But I had to add more to make it sweeter and ended up at about 2.5 cups (after adding the cream). Whether you mix the coconut in or not, sprinkling some on top looks better.

I'm not a fan of coconut, but everybody I gave these to loved them. I used a silicone mini loaf pan. I added 1/2 C Sour Cream and increased milk to a full cup. Dryness was not a problem. Also used 1/2 t Almond Extract. There wasn't a strong coconut taste, but the shreds (I used real coconut) gave a slight "crunch" inside the cakes.

Excellent! Made as the recipe said only I used Ghirardelli and Hersheys chocolate powder because I had them on hand, sorry nestle. Oh and I didn't add nuts.

Zesty Lizard reviewed cynjne’s Butternut Squash Soup with Apple Recipe. 11/17/2010
Came out great. I omitted the leeks, chives, and wine because I don't like them. I used a Sweet Potato. I also added about a cup or so more Squash, and used about 1-2 teaspoons of Nutmeg, Sage, Cayenne, and Rosemary because people said it was bland. Flavor was subtle but good.

Zesty Lizard reviewed Allrecipes Member’s Hot Cocoa Marshmallow Cupcakes. 02/12/2010
Made as directed and it was great. I'm only basing this review on the frosting since, well, the cake is a mix. The frosting is delicious and has a hot cocoa flavor when alone, but the cake covers that up so you can't really tell when they're together. If the cake also had a flavor closer to hot cocoa then I think it would work. Oh, I also didn't put the marshmallows on top as I only had large ones.

Zesty Lizard reviewed Allrecipes Member’s Cranberry-Cardamom Muffins. 11/05/2009
I cut the recipe in half, but got 24 muffins. And my first batch stuck, so I reccomend greasing the muffin cups. I subbed frozen blueberries (thawed and dried). The muffins were okay, but I wouldn't make them again without adding another 1/4 - 1/2 cup sugar and some cinnamon, or maybe honey. But that's a personal taste.
