Base recipe 4 stars. We doubled the water, but could have tripled it. The soup was delicious but not very brothy at all.

Delicious! I mixed ingredients in a mixer with a bread hook. 1/4 c of butter and 1/3 c of parmesan cheese were mixed into the dough. Per recommendations, I baked the sticks (24) for 12 minutes at 375F and didn’t broil them at all.

Delicious! We added a touch more wine and lemon juice plus one extra clove of garlic than the recipe calls for. No other changes.

I made this for the first time when zucchini were not in season, so did a split of carrots and celery as the only vegetables. My whole family enjoyed it served as a skillet meal with the tomato sauce mixed in. We’ll make this recipe again and might try it with the sauce on top, baked.

We were looking for a recipe using black lentils and decided on this one because we had all of the ingredients except for the bacon. It was delicious. Thank you, John.

Delicious! The recipe worked great. I used only 2 T of sugar and they were still quite sweet. Now I use just 1 T of sugar. Baking time required 10 minutes in my oven rather than 8 as suggested. 1 batch makes 36 mini muffins. A dbl batch makes 36 mini & 12 standard.
