July 2024 Scott Thrasher-Herndon reviewed Lissa’s Beef Stroganoff for Instant Pot. May 2024 A keeper! Great flavors Easy to follow Worth the effort Crowd-pleaser Family favorite Absolutely delicious! A few minor tweaks, but overall I stayed true to the nature of the dish. I used beef broth instead of chicken, cream of mushroom soup instead of fresh mushrooms, and I had neither an onion nor soy sauce on-hand, so I simply omitted both. I can honestly say as good as this turned out, I can’t imagine what the onion or soy sauce could’ve added to the flavor. I tweaked it a bit, threw in what I had on hand, like always with frittatas. Such a treat. I would have never imagined things like watermelon, feta, balsamic vinegar and cilantro EVER going together in one dish...this knocked my socks off! I've made it several times now and I've taken several of them to get together, there is never anything left for me to schlep home afterward!
