Delicious! I tried the cheeseball mix and was worried that it would be too bland so I warned everyone. I was wrong. When eaten on a cracker with an almond or two AND a bit of smoked salmon-- it's amazing! I HIGHLY recommend serving with smoked salmon. It is not in my photo as I took the photo prior to placing the crackers & smoked salmon on the plate. This was a hit at the holiday party!

I used what I had on hand and crushed corn flakes worked perfectly, maybe even better as it added a crunch element to the dish. The cooking wine really bumps this up a notch with depth of flavor. I love this recipe. It was a big hit and I will repeat frequently. It's super fast and easy and tastes like a fine dining dish!

This creamy cheesy polenta is so delicious and rich. It's savory. I served it with filet mignon. It was the perfect complementary flavor profile. I used low sodium chicken broth because that's what I had available, and it was amazing! I would never use regular chicken broth for this recipe, since it tasted perfect! I also used a lot of paprika, not a dash. I highly recommend that you make this recipe, even if you don't have a fancy meal planned. You may want to eat it all. Remember you have to use a potato masher to break down the cubed polenta after removing the polenta from the heat (I think that's not written in the recipe). Enjoy!

Edits that I made, but you don't have to: I doubled the vanilla, I used light brown sugar, I used 4 ounces of very expensive wheated Kentucky bourbon whiskey, I allowed the mixture to bubble for 6 to 7 minutes instead of just a few (stirring frequently), and I allowed the bananas to remain in the skillet (turning a few times to coat) for 4 to 5 minutes. This was an amazing dish. I highly recommend it!
