I did add onion and garlic to the Italian Sausage. I did use ground Italian sausage instead of the roll because I already had that. The only other change I made was to add about 1 tsp of Italian Seasoning. It was so good!! Definitely saved this one in my favorites. Best of all my husband loved it. I did take others suggestions and replaced 1/4c milk with heavy cream and I used 4 egg yolks instead of 3 whole eggs. This recipe is going in my saved recipes!
