I doubled the sauce and added 3 crushed garlic cloves. I sprinkled pepper and garlic powder on the tenderloins and seared them on all sides. IStarted at 400 for 10 min, then lowered to 350 until it reached 145 interior temperature. Basted when I turned the temp down and every 5-7 min till it was done. Smelled wonderful, and very tasty! Good enough for company!
This was easy to prepare and brownies were delicious with the perfect consistency- a dense but not too dense interior and a crusty outside.I doubled the recipe and used a 9x13 pan which was perfect. I used half oil/ half butter and about 2/3 white sugar 1/3 brown sugar. I included chopped walnuts .This was for St Patrick’s day so I also added mint chocolate chips and topped with mint chip ice cream. Was going to do a cream cheese icing but it didn’t need it, these were so good!

Great recipe, with tweaks! I made the lemon layer bigger (1.5x all ingredients except sugar) and that really made it the bomb. Everyone was commenting on the great lemon flavour. I can’t imagine another 1.5 c of sugar in this! It is a bit tricky to cut- leave in fridge overnight before cutting into squares, using a clean knife dipped in hot water before each cut. I served it with whipped cream and raspberries on each slice. Because it was for an Easter potluck, I also put them in pink muffin cups, so easy to grab.
A new family favourite, we all loved this! Followed the recipe closely, except I used a bag of coleslaw instead of fresh cabbage, and used beef broth instead of water. I added a few drops of Worcestershire sauce and some garlic powder. I already want to make it again!
First the positives - we did like this recipe. I cut the pineapple/juice and white sugar each by 1/3 and it was the perfect sweetness for my whole family, I can’t imagine using the full amount. But this recipe was a lot of work compared to Chef John’s s&s pork tenderloin (my usual recipe. and no better than recipe, my usual recipe
Using marinated artichokes is key for this dish as they add a lot of flavour. Like many others I added the artichoke marinade and used canned tomatoes including liquid. I’m surprised other reviews didn’t suggest doubling the sauce ingredients, I did this because I had lots of chicken and am glad I did. I will add more garlic, oregano and parsley next time, the flavour was good but I like stronger flavours
