We didn’t love this recipe. It wasn’t quite as flavorful as I had hoped, except for the lemon. It sounded really good but for us, this will be a pass in the future.

Like others, I cut the vinegar and oil back to 1/2 and added a tsp. Of sugar. I added some sweet banana pepper we had around and yum! I think next time I’ll try it with rice vinegar instead.

Unfortunately, we didn’t love this one. With 1/3 cup soy sauce, I think it was too much on the “soy saucey” side for us. And agree with others on the cayenne—I cut it back to 1/2 tsp.

This turned out great! (Well, ok, I rolled them too thin but that’s hardly Chef John’s fault ). Easy to make and light & flaky! Woot, I have a biscuit “go to” recipe now!

This soup is awesome!!! I added about 1/3 more of all the spices and at the end, used my immersion blender to liquefy it just a bit, but still left it chunky. I also threw in a couple of peppers I had from my garden. I will definitely be making this one again!
