Modified quite a bit because I didn't have all things or quantities referenced... Used gluten free bread, small pieces, added brown sugar, no raisins, 1 egg. I liked my results... tasted more like baked French toast. I also poured a sweet sauce over it, not necessarily caramel, because again, I was experimenting.

Awesome recipe... I've used grade B maple syrup instead of sugar (3/4 C) and they are fabulous.
