The only thing I changed was to use cream instead of milk. Excellent! It was inhaled. Fam's already asking when I'll make it again. Next time, I will triple the recipe! I never even got to taste it before it was gone!

Well....the pan is empty! Made this EXACTLY as written. I could give it 5 stars, but I felt it was missing something, and not. I’m not suggesting that the actual base recipe needs to be changed, but the recipe really needs the brightness that red enchilada sauce or taco sauce or really, it could be any sauce you prefer. Excellent flavor! Unfortunately, because the recipe doesn’t specify what type of apples to use, I purchased “Honey Crips” and they were too mild (not enough apple flavor and they remained on the crisp side. I will definitely give these another try, but will probably stick to Granny Smiths. Thank you for the recipe!

Let me start by saying I'm not a huge mushroom fan. I love the flavor they give other foods, but the texture is not pleasing to me. That being said, I have to admit that this is the best recipe I've ever used for mushrooms to put on a nice Filet Mignon. I didn't change a thing. Thank you for this recipe!
