Simple White Cake Recipe.
this is my go to base cake. I am making it today and adding 1/2 cup fresh strawberry jam . Then icing with strawberry butter cream. I get rave reviews on this! I dont alter the recipe in any way but adding the jam. I will swap out different fruit depending on the season.

Perfect, although I forgot the lemon. I also added some raisins because my bag of dates seemed short. I am eating it warm and it is Soo good!

Real Traditional Irish Soda Bread
made this in the oven on a cast iron tawa. Rose beautifully and went well with my clam chowder for Friday Lenten dinner. Corn beef is tomorrow but I doubt there will be leftovers of this bread. I may have to make another tomorrow!

Slow-Cooked Green Beans
amazing! I used a fresh chopped up beefsteak tomato. The pan was scraped for the last bit of the juice that formed. So freaking good!

Russian Black Bread
I left out brown sugar and coffee(as I dont use) and it was still too sweet until I added butter. Otherwise, it was a good loaf, but I think I will stick to my other recipe

loved it, did a few changes. I put 2 cups of rye flour and 1&1/2 regular flour, left out the brown sugar and added caraway 2tsp, fennel, 1 tsp and a full heaping tablespoon of dried dill. It was perfect, smelled so good and tasted amazing.
