Holy cow, this is so good. I took the picture when I got mine. There’s only 3 of us too. I had to use cream of celery and mushroom. My husband wanted green beans, I opened 2 peas accidentally I put those on top of the meat. Then the tater tot mix on. I used a 10x15 casserole dish. I had 3 servings. You gotta try it.
We are trying to help our Chihuahua, Pepper, to loose some weight. But I still wanted to be able to give both our dogs, the other one, Chef, a snack when ever I wanted to. I made these and they both loved them. This is their new treat. The dough is very easy to work with.
This was AWESOME! I couldn't believe how good it came out and ease to make it. Cook it with the bone. I read a bunch of recipes and it called for "herbse de Provence" not a clue where to get it. I couldn't find Vanilla Bean so I figured I'd just made my own. I timed this to the minute just like he said. I taped the oven door shut, or my husband would want to peek. Watch his video too. You should watch Chef John video for Prime Rib before you make this, you'll be glad you did. Just YouTube for Chef John Prime Rib.
I always look at 3-4 different recipes for food I look at their ratings then decide by reading the recipe. I have a huge collection of AllRecipes recipes. I make this often this time I will be canning the marinade. In small jars, since a little goes a long way.
I love Asparagus however prepared. One day I got froggy and looked up a recipe for Cream of Asparagus and found this one, I look at the ratings before I choose. I open up each choice in a separate tab. I then look them over and this one sounded the best and easiest and very simple ingredients, with 800+ ratings and a solid 5 stars, I had a winner. I couldn't believe how good it was. My store had Asparagus on sale, perfect, so I bought 1lb. Well that batch didn't last long at all, my friend had a bowl and I ate the rest, that day. The only thing I changed, after trying both ways, was I used 1/2 milk and 1/2 heavy whipping cream. I wanted it just a tad bit more creamy. Then they were on sale again, this time I got 3 lbs. and tripled the recipe. Gone in 2 days, mostly me. The only thing I don't like is that I can't can any for later, not the soup's fault, you just cant safely can dairy products. ENJOY! I did, 4 times.
