
A man who was ‘attacked’ and died of a cardiac arrest has been named locally as 33-year-old father Louis Price.
Staffordshire Police were called to a report of a man in his 30s suffering a cardiac arrest in Norton Canes, Cannock, around 3.30 am Christmas morning. He died at the scene shortly afterwards.
A 33-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder shortly after.
The victim has been locally identified as Mr Price, who reportedly lived with his parents in the Staffordshire village, according to the Mail Online.
Mr Price reportedly shared a young daughter with his ‘on-and-off again’ girlfriend.
Neighbours shared their shock at the sudden death of the young dad, who is rumoured to have been stabbed.

A local mum told the Mail: ‘He was a lovely lad. They (the family) kept to themselves and were a decent, hard-working family.
‘Louis had a baby daughter with his girlfriend. They had been together for years. I have lived here for six years and they have been here beyond that.
In a statement, Staffordshire Police said: ‘A woman has been arrested after we launched an investigation into the death of a man at a house in Norton Canes.
‘We were called to a report of a man in his 30s in cardiac arrest on Elm Road, Norton Canes at around 3:25am this morning (25 December). Sadly, despite the best efforts of emergency services at the scene, he passed away a short while later.

‘The man’s next of kin have been informed and are now being supported by specially-trained officers.
‘A 33-year-old woman from Cannock has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in custody.
‘A scene remains at the address whilst the investigation continues and is expected to remain for a number of days. To help establish the cause of death, a post-mortem is scheduled to take place on Boxing Day morning.
