I did make some changes, but I used every last ingredient--I only added to because it was so bland. I really tried to liven it up--I fried a couple strips of bacon and chopped them up. I used the bacon grease to saute the vegetables and really let them go low and slow to bring out flavor. I pureed the sweet potato in the veggie broth and then added all the ingredients back in the soup. Added a pinch of cayenne to kick it up. Still bland, not sure what it's missing. It was okay, not great, I'll eat it but probably won't make again.

These are a favorite! Quick, easy and inexpensive. To boost the flavor use homemade refried beans, shred colby-jack cheese yourself and use a high quality enchilada sauce like Frontera. I make these nearly every week.

Really delicious. I added a handful of cinnamon red hots to the carmel sauce and melted them down...highly recommend trying it! I was lazy and used store bought pie crust, but still made the lattice. I also used macintosh apples because i had so many on hand. Made for an excellent pie.

Really delicious. I used vegan chocolate chips and organic everything else. Very tasty but very sweet, next time I may cut down on the powdered sugar a little.

Delicious. I used fresh strawberries I had frozen in the summertime in attempt to clear out my freezer. Halfway through boiling I used a potato masher to crush down the berries to release more flavor. This will be perfect to use with our SodaStream machine instead of using the expensive syrups.

This was fast, easy and flavorful. I made two changes: using vegetable broth instead of chicken broth (had to use what was on hand), and I also added a couple splashes of chardonnay to the pan with the garlic to help deglaze. I used meyer lemons to try to help cut the bitterness as stated by other reviewers. I thoroughly enjoyed this dish however my husband said it was too much lemon for him. I think it's a matter of personal taste and no fault of the recipe. i will probably make this again for myself!
