I've made this recipe many times using pork and/or chicken breasts. I make it exactly as directed in the recipe and it is delicious every time. I don't understand why so many people change it all around and then review their own creation...

Made it as a side dish for fish, salmon for me and cod for hubby. We both liked it very much. I used frozen whole beans but otherwise followed directions. Will make it again.

I made these for dinner last Friday. They were very good even though I had to use hard corn tacos (can't find what you want during this corona virus). The only thing I added was a squirt of lime juice that brought them to a 5 star recipe.

I found this recipe about 6 years ago and made it originally for my boyfriend (now husband) who is of Greek heritage. We absolutely love it! Everyone I've made it for loves it. Fantastic recipe, thank you! My only tweak is to use marinated artichokes and dump in the entire 12 oz. including marinade. I'm just making it now for his birthday dinner.

I found this recipe a few years ago, marvelous! I've made it several times, occasionally making small changes depending what I have on hand, doesn't matter, it's always delicious. I personally never add the wine, I use additional stock, still delicious.

This is a delicious stew exactly as written. I've made it several times and play around with the veggies, but potatoes, carrots and celery is a great base to start. I also found it can be baked at 250 deg for 5 hours. the beef is tender and there is no need to brown the meat first. When cooking low and slow, veggies should be in large pieces. Either way, a winner in my family!
