1 large can porknbeans (3lb/slightly drained)

1/2 lb hickory smoked bacon (chopped)

1 large white or yellow onion (chopped)

1/4 cup green(Bell)pepper (minced)

2 tablespoons chopped garlic

1/3 cup catsup

1 tablespoon yellow mustard

1 tablespoon worchestire sauce

1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions

Heat oven to 325.

In a skillet cook bacon over med/hi heat until almost done. Drain all except 2 tablespoons of bacon drippings. Lower heat to med, add onion and continue cooking 7-8 minutes. Add garlic and green pepper, cook stir an additional 5 minutes.

Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Add bacon mixture, mix well. Pour into a, greased or sprayed, 9" or 10" baking dish and bake uncovered for an hour (stir once after 30min).
