Ingredients
-
1.5 - 3 lb. Chuck Roast
-
1 packet Au Jus Gravy
-
1 packet Ranch Seasoning
-
1 jar Mt. Olive Simply Vidalia Onions
-
4 cups Beef Stock (low sodium or no salt is preferred)
-
1 TBS Room Temperature Butter
-
1 TBS Flour
Directions
-
Add your chuck roast to a slow cooker, no need to sear it first.
-
Sprinkle the Au Jus Gravy packet, Ranch seasoning packet, and Simply Vidalia Onions over the roast.
-
Cover the slow cooker, and cook on high for 4-6 hours, or low 6-8 hours.
-
Half way through the cooking process, if you need to add some liquid, add the beef stock.
-
When the roast is impossibly tender and falling apart, remove to shred. Return back to the liquid.
-
In a bowl mash 1 tablespoon of room temperature butter with 1 tablespoon of flour, until combined. Mix this into the beef and liquid to thicken the gravy. Allow to cook for 30 minutes uncovered.
-
Serve over rice, noodles, mashed potatoes, or mashed cauliflower.
