Ingredients

  • 1.5 - 3 lb. Chuck Roast

  • 1 packet Au Jus Gravy

  • 1 packet Ranch Seasoning

  • 1 jar Mt. Olive Simply Vidalia Onions

  • 4 cups Beef Stock (low sodium or no salt is preferred)

  • 1 TBS Room Temperature Butter

  • 1 TBS Flour

Directions

  1. Add your chuck roast to a slow cooker, no need to sear it first.

  2. Sprinkle the Au Jus Gravy packet, Ranch seasoning packet, and Simply Vidalia Onions over the roast.

  3. Cover the slow cooker, and cook on high for 4-6 hours, or low 6-8 hours.

  4. Half way through the cooking process, if you need to add some liquid, add the beef stock.

  5. When the roast is impossibly tender and falling apart, remove to shred. Return back to the liquid.

  6. In a bowl mash 1 tablespoon of room temperature butter with 1 tablespoon of flour, until combined. Mix this into the beef and liquid to thicken the gravy. Allow to cook for 30 minutes uncovered.

  7. Serve over rice, noodles, mashed potatoes, or mashed cauliflower.
