Tried several variations of this recipe and this one is perfect and THE one I make every time now(even if I cheat with store-bought crust occasionally)!
This is so delicious even tho I use Italian sausage and a mix of balsamic vinegar, cooking wine, Worcestershire and water for the liquid. I change up some spices and add basil/tomato feta…from Polish to Italian for this Cherokee/Irish mutt! Yummmm
Delicious and easy! I only had a cup of pumpkin left, (I roast my own), so I substituted 1 c. crushed, drained pineapple and it still tasted delicious! Husband couldn’t wait for me to take photo before tasting!
I had issues with inch overhang of biscuit after baking crust- it burned eventually and I too had to extend the cooking time. But it was delicious!
