Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 24 servings

  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice

  • 1 teaspoon orange zest

  • 2 ½ cups confectioners' sugar

Directions

  1. Beat cream cheese, butter, orange juice, and orange zest in a mixing bowl with an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually mix in confectioner's sugar until blended and smooth.

To Use:

Try this frosting on Carrot Walnut Cookies. Spread frosting onto cooled cookies, then sprinkle with walnuts if desired. Frosting will set in 1 to 2 hours. Refrigerate in an airtight container with waxed paper between layers for up to 1 week.
