Original recipe (1X) yields 30 servings ½ cup shortening 4 large ripe bananas 2 cups Amish Friendship Bread Starter (see footnote for recipe link) 3 large eggs 1 cup white sugar 1 cup chopped walnuts ½ cup milk 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder ½ teaspoon baking soda ½ teaspoon salt Directions Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
