How to Make Fried Oreos

You'll find a detailed ingredient list and step-by-step instructions in the recipe below, but let's go over the basics:

Fried Oreo Ingredients

You'll only need five ingredients to make these irresistible deep-fried Oreos: vegetable oil (for frying and for the batter), milk, an egg, pancake mix, and a package of Oreos (regular and Double Stuf Oreos both work great). Try different Oreo flavors to switch things up!

How to Deep Fry Oreos

It couldn't be simpler to make deep-fried Oreos at home: Make the batter, dip the cookies in the batter, and fry the cookies in batches in a deep fryer (ideally) until they're golden brown. Dust the finished Oreos with powdered sugar for a perfect presentation.

How to Store Fried Oreos

These fried Oreos are best eaten the day they're made. However, if you have leftovers, you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.

Allrecipes Community Tips and Praise

"I made these for a school event and they were delicious!" raves Hannah Wangler. "It was a perfect balance of crispy batter and sweet Oreo inside! Thanks for a great recipe!"

"I suggest chilling the Oreos before frying," says Amanda. "When we didn't, the Oreos were falling apart. They came out better after we chilled them."

"These are so easy to make and people love them," according to Big Al. "Make the pancake batter in advance, a little on the thick side, and refrigerate it. Decorate the plate with chocolate syrup and serve two fried Oreos with confectioner's sugar sprinkled on them next to a dip of vanilla ice cream."
