Original recipe (1X) yields 14 servings 1 (6 to 7 pound) picnic ham 1 (15.25 ounce) can pineapple rings, juice drained and reserved 1 (16 ounce) can cola-flavored carbonated beverage (such as Pepsi) Directions Place ham in slow cooker with the fattier side facing down. Use toothpicks to attach pineapple rings to the ham; pour over pineapple juice. Pour cola into the slow cooker. Cover and cook on Low for 7 to 10 hours. Cook’s Note In my opinion, Pepsi works best.I prefer to leave my ham whole once it's done cooking, but others have said they like to shred it into chunks and mix it with the cooked pineapple.
