Original recipe (1X) yields 24 servings 1 cup white sugar ¾ cup shortening ½ cup brown sugar 1 ¾ cups shredded pumpkin 2 medium eggs 2 cups whole wheat flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon ½ teaspoon ground ginger ½ teaspoon ground allspice ¼ teaspoon ground cloves 1 cup quick-cooking oats Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
