These chicken sliders are perfect for a party! They're quick and easy to make with buttery rolls, cooked chicken, tangy BBQ sauce, red onion, and loads of melted cheese.

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 12 servings

  • 12 dinner rolls, halved lengthwise

  • 3 cups chopped cooked chicken

  • ¾ cup shredded Cheddar cheese, or to taste

  • cup BBQ sauce

  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced

  • ½ cup finely chopped parsley

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic

Directions

  1. Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Place roll bottoms on a baking sheet. Divide chicken, Cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, onion, and parsley equally over rolls.

  3. Cover with roll tops; brush with melted butter. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and garlic on top.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 20 minutes. Slice and serve.

Cook’s Note

Hawaiian sweet rolls can be substituted for dinner rolls.

Use your favorite cheese instead of Cheddar if desired.
