4 medium Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and quartered

½ cup shredded Asiago cheese

½ cup nonfat milk

3 tablespoons whipped butter

1 tablespoon minced garlic

½ teaspoon dried oregano

salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions

Place potatoes into a large pot and cover with salted water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until fork-tender, about 20 minutes. Drain and place into a large bowl.

Mash potatoes with a potato masher. Add Asiago cheese, milk, butter, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper; whisk until combined.
Cook's Note:
If you can't find Asiago cheese, you could substitute Parmesan cheese.
